PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tulip mosaic virus strain inert to develop color breakup of the pedal of a tulip plant.;SOLUTION: The tulip mosaic virus strain does not cause the development of color breakup on the pedal of the tulip plant. This invention further provides a plant infected with the tulip mosaic virus strain and the descendent of the plant. The invention provides a method for producing a plant resistant to tulip mosaic virus diseases.
