PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spatial resolution which becomes necessary when the spatial resolution of a living body structure image is inferior. PSOLUTION: An X-ray CT image (a) of a low spatial resolution image is acquired using a PET-X-ray CT examination device. Also, a PET image (b) is acquired using the PET-X-ray CT examination device. Furthermore, an X-ray CT image (c) of a high spatial resolution image is acquired using another X-ray CT examination device. And, an X-ray CT image (d) which is the high spatial resolution image is acquired by correcting the X-ray CT image (a) which is the low spatial resolution image using the X-ray CT image (c). Since the positional relation between the X-ray CT image (d) and the PET image (b) is known, image composition of the PET image (b) and the X-ray CT image (d) can be simply performed as shown in (e).
