PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spun yarn for melange fabric, capable of expressing multicolor-phase melange effect with a wide range of hues and colors using a single natural material, and to provide a method for dyeing the spun yarn.;SOLUTION: The spun yarn for melange fabric is obtained by combining together raw filaments cationization-modified with a cationization modifier of high hydrophobic group constitution ratio, raw filaments cationization-modified with a cationization modifier of low hydrophobic group constitution ratio, and unmodified raw filaments. A 2nd version of the spun yarn for melange fabric is obtained by dyeing the above spun yarn with an acid dye and a reactive dye to express melange appearance. A 3rd version of the spun yarn is obtained by dyeing the 1st spun yarn with an acid dye, a reactive dye and a direct dye to express melange appearance with more complicated hue.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
