PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fitting head for surely press fitting a connector holding a plurality of rows of contacts into a substrate, a press fitting device having the head, and a press fitting method for surely press-fitting the connector and reducing a manufacturing cost.;SOLUTION: This is the press fitting head for press-fitting a connector to hold contacts 21, 22 with shoulders 21b, 22b into a substrate 30, has an abutting part 13 to abut on the shoulders 21b, 22b, and provided with both of a right and left positioning wall 14 to position the right and left direction of the shoulders 21b, 22b and a back and forth positioning wall 15 to position the shoulders 21b, 22b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
