PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling-off of a side plate within a magazine favorably by forming reinforcing ribs along the overall length on both sides in its longitudinal direction of the side plate which forms a heat exchanger, and forming falling-off preventive ribs each of which has a width not less than the thickness of the side plate. ;SOLUTION: For a side plate consisting of aluminum alloy having a thickness of about 1mm, the board material of aluminum is cut at a specified length, and then reinforcing ribs 101 are made by bending along the overall length in longitudinal direction on both of its sides. Furthermore, at the side plate 100, two strips of ribs 103 and 104 are made likewise by bending along the overall length in longitudinal direction at its bottom plate 102. Falling-off preventive ribs 120 and 130 are made by partial inward bending in the vicinity of the ends of the reinforcing rib 101. Hereby, even if many are accommodated in a magazine at molding, the side plate does not fall off, and the transfer to the next process can be performed without fail.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
