PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-shaped body for manufacturing a flat tube capable of increasing brazing strength between reinforcement wall formation parts and improving the pressure resistance of the manufactured flat tube.;SOLUTION: This plate-shaped body 15 for manufacturing the flat tube is composed of one piece of a metallic plate, and comprises two flat wall formation parts 17, 18 having the same widths, a connecting part 16 for connecting the flat wall formation parts 17, 18, side wall formation parts 9, 10 integrally molded on side edges at a side opposite to the connecting part 16, of the flat wall formation parts 17, 18, and first and second reinforcement wall formation parts 11, 12 integrally molded on the flat wall formation parts 9, 10. When the metallic plate is bent into a hairpin shape at the connecting part 16, and the first reinforcement wall formation part 11 and the second reinforcement wall formation part 12 are abutted on each other.
