PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to impart heat shielding property to a paint coating film for an aircraft without changing various properties required to the original painting for the aircraft nor conventional painting processes.;SOLUTION: In this method for imparting heat shielding property to the colored paint coating film except for white color to the body surface of the aircraft, when applying colored paint coating film except white color to the body surface of the aircraft, the colored pigment contained in the coating film is composed only by a colored pigment having a solar insolation reflectance of 13% or more stipulated in JIS A5759-1998, and a dry film thickness of the film is formed to be 20-75 μm. A reduction ratio % of a ratio of αS/εN of a sunlight absorbency αS to a vertical emissivity εN before and after applying the heat shielding property, is improved better than the same color and made to closely come to that of white color.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
