PURPOSE: To judge a state of a processing solution in a simple constitution. ;CONSTITUTION: After passed through a processing solution in a processing bath and desilvered, a negative film N is dried in a drying bath 10H. Infrared rays are cast to the negative film N including silver halide from an emission diode of an infrared sensor unit 120. A photodiode detects the infrared rays passing through the film N to which infrared rays are cast from the emission diode. A control part 26 has from the photodiode an input of a signal corresponding to the amount of infrared rays detected by the photodiode, and judge a performance of the processing solution from a size of the signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
