SOLUTION: This gene is encoded by a polynucleotide and controls the form of a plant; wherein the polynucleotide includes a polynucleotide encoding an amino acid sequence ranging from the 1st site Met to the 689th site Val of a specified amino acid sequence derived from rice plant, and a polynucleotide encoding an amino acid sequence where one or more amino acid(s) in the above- mentioned amino acid sequence are deleted, substituted or added.
