The present invention provides a system and a method of implementing instant communion of the image information by the mean of instant communication. In the mean of instant communication, the image data processing module is added. The image data processing module collects image data, and after changing image data into object data, transmits the object data to the network side by the mean of instant communication. The mean of instant communication of receiving client side extracts image data from the information received from the network side, and displays its content, i.e. image. The present invention is applied to implement instant communication and information interaction of image information, in order to improve practicability and interest of instant communication further, widen new functions for instant communication service, and improve value-added ability of instant communication service.
