By said method, we can obtain -by means of a controlled screen unit, controlled voltage and DC current, controlled sodium chloride content in sewage, controlled temperature of sewage during electrolysis, controlled pH value during electrolysis, elimination of the residual oxidants with sulphur dioxide or acid sodium sulfite- complete elimination of pathogenic micro-organisms, and reduction of colour, BOD5, COD, and TSS to limits acceptable by law.
