PURPOSE: A vacuum ashtray/cleaner for a vehicle is provided to completely remove a bad smell and dust produced from the ashtray and to function as a vacuum cleaner to clean the room of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: In a vacuum ashtray/cleaner(12) for a vehicle, if the vacuum ashtray is pulled forward for use as an ashtray, a working switch(13) operates a working vacuum motor(23) and the vacuum ashtray is operated. The operation of the vacuum ashtray is stopped if the vacuum ashtray is pushed. To function as a vacuum cleaner, a cover(33) is separated from a vacuum cleaner connection socket(31) and a cleaning connection hose(32) is connected and then a vacuum cleaner working switch(34) is operated to operate the vacuum motor. The speed of the vacuum motor adjusts the speed of the vacuum cleaner working switch to low speed, intermediate speed, and high speed. A back current interception device(14) intercepts a bad smell flowing backward from a vacuum collector. The vacuum collector comprises a collecting case(21), a collecting filter(22), the vacuum motor, and a collecting filter cleaning-signaling switch(24).
