METHOD FOR OBTAINING COMPOSITE COATING OF Ni-SiC POWDER BY ELECTROPHORESIS THROUGH IMPREGNATION, STIRRING AND FLOTATION, AND INTERMITTENT STIRRING AND ELECTRICITY IMPRESSING PROCESSES
PURPOSE: To provide a composite coating method of Ni-SiC powder by electrophoresis to obtain a Ni-SiC powder coated composite in which concentration of silicon carbide powder electrodeposited is easily controlled, of which physical properties are easily controlled accordingly, and which has superior heat resistance and wear resistance. CONSTITUTION: In a composite coating method of Ni-SiC powder which is absorbed onto a coating object through agitation and electricity impressing after adding SiC powder into a Ni plating pot, the composite coating method of Ni-SiC powder by electrophoresis comprises the steps of adding SiC powder having a particle size of 0.1 to 1 μm to the Ni plating pot in the state that pH of the Ni plating pot is maintained to 4 to 5; coercively stirring the Ni plating pot; impregnating SiC powder suspended in the Ni plating pot with Ni in the state that the SiC powder is free settled; and coating Ni on the SiC powder by impressing an electricity to the mixture of SiC powder and Ni as performing an intermittent stirring operation on the SiC powder impregnated with Ni.
