PURPOSE: A flat panel display device is provided to accelerate an operation of the display device by varying resistances of thin film transistors in a pixel portion and to elongate the lifetime of the device by controlling a current flowing through electro-luminescent elements. CONSTITUTION: A flat panel display device includes a pixel portion and a driving circuit portion. The pixel portion includes a plurality of pixels arranged therein. The driving circuit portion drives the pixels in the pixel portion. Thin film transistor in the pixel portion has resistances different from those of the transistors(320,340,361,365) in the driving circuit portion.
