METHOD FOR PRODUCING TEA-BAG TYPE GINSENG TEA HAVING IMPROVED DRINKING CONVENIENCE USING EXTRUSION AND THE TEA-BAG TYPE GINSENG TEA PRODUCED THEREFROM
PURPOSE: A method for producing tea-bag type ginseng tea using extrusion and the tea-bag type ginseng tea produced therefrom are provided, which tea-bag type ginseng tea having distinct medicinal efficacy and taste and flavor of ginseng has improved convenience for drinking, so that a consumer can conveniently drink the tea-bag type ginseng tea. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing tea-bag type ginseng tea using extrusion comprises the steps of: treating ginseng including fresh ginseng or white ginseng powder with starch decomposing enzyme, fiber decomposing enzyme or a combination thereof; pulverizing the enzyme treated ginseng and drying the pulverized ginseng to water content of 10 to 40%; inserting the dried ginseng into a double shaft extrusion machine, and extruding the ginseng at 80 to 130 deg. C and 100 to 350 rpm; and drying and pulverizing the ginseng extrusion particles having diameter size of 200 micrometer to 0.5 millimeter.
