PURPOSE: Provided are a container for a fuel cell which is compact sufficiently for accommodating an electrolyte member and has high reliance, a fuel cell containing the container, and an electronic device using the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION: The container(2) comprises a body(6) which comprises ceramic and has a concave part for accommodating an electrolyte member(3) having first and second electrodes at one side; a first fluid channel(8) formed over the lower surface of the concave part facing the one main surface of the electrolyte member to the outer surface of the body; a first wiring conductor(10) whose one terminal is installed at the lower surface of the concave part facing the first electrode(4) of the electrolyte member and whose the other terminal is drawn to the outer part of the body; a cover(7) which is mounted by a concave part on one surface of the surroundings of the concave part and seals the concave part; a second fluid channel(9) formed over the one surface of the cover facing the other main surface of the electrolyte member to the outer surface of the cover; and a second wiring conductor(11) whose one terminal is installed at the one surface of the cover facing the second electrode(5) of the electrolyte member and whose the other terminal is drawn to the outer part of the cover. A groove(12) is formed in at least one side of the contact part of the first electrode and the body and the contact part of the second electrode and the cover.
