AIR CONDITIONER FOR PREVENTING INFILTRATION OF DUST AND RAINWATER INTO GAS THICKENING UNIT AND EASILY DISCHARGING INFILTRATED DUST AND RAINWATER

PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to prevent infiltration of dust and rainwater into a gas thickening unit and to easily discharge infiltrated dust and rainwater, thereby restraining performance of gas separating films of the gas thickening unit from deteriorating. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit(1) of an air conditioner forms a body and has a compressor(2) for compressing a refrigerant, a heat exchanger(3) for exchanging heat between the compressed gas with outside air, and a fan(4) for forcibly inducing outside air to the heat exchanger. A gas thickening unit(7) is formed of selective gas separating films for thickening specific gas. The selective gas separating films are arranged under a top plate part(15) of the outdoor unit around the top plate. An inlet of the gas thickening unit is hidden by a side part of the top plate part in a horizontal direction. A vacuum pump(8) transmits the thickened gas to a space to be conditioned.
