Hangings (3) can be moved from a stow-away position into an operating position and vice versa. A stow-away area can be integrated into a motor vehicle's door frame (9) in a horizontal section. A tie rod rotates on one end in the door frame on bearings. At its other end, the tie rod links up to an operating system, which has a spindle drive mechanism, a pigtail drive or a cable pull drive. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A motor vehicle door's interior molding with a sun protection system integrated into the molding; (b) and for a motor vehicle's door with a sun protection system integrated into its molding.
