Foil wiring (2) has strip conductors (6) embedded in insulation (4) linked to adhesive strands (8) on narrow outer sides of the insulation. These strands are each isolated against the surroundings with a removable protective element like a protective paint (10). Together with the adhesive strands and the protective paint, the insulation forms a combined modular unit.
