An arrangement for removing an unwanted substance from a process product, which consists of a polymer material and/or at least one plastic, comprises gassing the unwanted substance out of the polymer or plastic at a predetermined temperature and pressure. The pressure is near atmospheric pressure, and the temperature is between -15 and +40[deg]C, especially 0-35[deg]C and preferably 5-25[deg]C. The arrangement consists of an autoclave (2) with a gas evacuation unit (4), vacuum pumps (40,41), a control unit (10,12,13), and pressure and temperature sensors (24,25).
