PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable sensor that can precisely measure the thermal conductivity of a high-temperature liquid substance, such as a metal melt.;SOLUTION: The sensor for measuring the thermal conductivity of a high-temperature liquid substance has a sensor section made of metal foil and an insulating sheet arranged so that it covers both the surfaces of the sensor section, and has a structure, where a gap generated between the metal foil and the insulating sheet is filled with inorganic fine powder. The sensor for measuring the thermal conductivity of the high-temperature liquid substance is made of a structure, where the metal foil and the insulating sheet are held by an insulating sheet. The insulating sheet has an opening for allowing the sensor section made of the metal foil to come into contact with the high-temperature liquid substance via the insulating sheet.
