PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing device for a shedding driver in a water jet loom, capable of preventing the shedding driver from being wetted by water, nor being attached by water drops, by positioning a cover for shielding and guiding water dropping on an upper area of the shedding driver from an upper part and then discharging the water through an outlet to the outside of the loom.;SOLUTION: A shedding motion of the water jet loom is structured so that a heald frame driver is positioned on a floor face, and wire ropes, guide rollers, etc., connected to a heald frame 3 are arranged under the heald frame 3, wherein a cloth curtain 35 is positioned at the front of the heald frame 3, a yarn beam curtain 36 is positioned at the rear of the heald frame 3, a pan part is positioned under the heald frame 3, bottom parts of the cloth curtain 35 and the yarn beam curtain 36 are hung to the pan part, and a horse part 39 is attached to the pan part so as to discharge the water collected in the pan part through the outlet positioned therein.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
