PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-Mg-content Al-Mg-based aluminum alloy sheet having high press-formability.;SOLUTION: The Al-Mg-based aluminum alloy sheet comprises more than 8% but at most 14% Mg, at most 1.0% Fe, at most 0.5% Si by mass%, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities. The aluminum alloy sheet is manufactured so as to show such a thermal change in a melting process as an endothermic peak height (h) between 50 and 100°C in a heating curve from a solid phase is 50.0 μW or higher, which is obtained by subjecting the sheet to differential thermal analysis.
