PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe end sealing method for stably and positively sealing the pipe end of a steel pipe expansion type lock bolt when pressing a sleeve into the pipe end of an abnormal profile pipe plated with metal and joining the pipe end and the sleeve by welding to seal the pipe end.;SOLUTION: When sealing the end of the steel pipe expansion type lock bolt comprising the abnormal profile pipe 1 formed of a steel pipe plated with metal, and the sleeves 2 put in close contact on the outer surface of both ends of the abnormal profile pipe 1, the pipe end sealing method for the steel pipe expansion type lock bolt is characterized in that the end of the abnormal profile pipe and the sleeve 2 are joined to each other by welding after removing metal plating of the end of the abnormal profile pipe 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
