GENE CLUSTER IF1A11 EXPRESSING HUMAN FaB ANTIBODY FabIF1A11 EFFECTIVELY NEUTRALIZING INFLUENZA VIRUS A TYPE H3N2 SUBTYPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which effect of oseltamivir as a specific therapeutic preparation for influenza infectious diseases is exhibited only by administration in initial stage of infection and the preparation can not be administered to infants and specific treating method in the case when symptom caused by influenza infectious disease becomes serious is not established and time is required for exhibiting the effect in inoculation of influenza vaccine as prophylaxis.;SOLUTION: The present inventors separated a gene cluster IF1A11 expressing human Fab by using a combinatorial chemistry method and a phage display method and found that FabIFIA11 which is the gene product of the gene cluster has activity to effectively neutralize influenza virus A type H3N2 subtype. The IF1A11 which is the gene product is a human Fab and it is believed that the IF1A11 is a molecule having possibility to compensate defects which prophylaxis by vaccine against influenza infectious diseases and specific therapeutic preparations have at present.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
