FLAT TYPE TEA BAG

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat type tea bag which enables an efficient performance of short-time extraction from tea leaves. PSOLUTION: The flat type tea bag comprises: a bag body with a rectangular plane form, having, in the center portion in the longitudinal direction of a rectangular water permeable sheet, a bent side folded along a line perpendicular to the longitudinal direction being made one side, a seal-bonded line formed along the sheet end portion at the side opposite to the bent side being made one side, a bonded side made by fusion-bonding the side edges in the longitudinal direction of the sheet being made one side, and the remaining one side opposite to the bonded side being made an opening; tea leaves charged inside the bag body through the opening; a fusion-bonding line formed for closing the opening of the bag body after it is filled with the tea leaves; and a hanging thread whose one end is bonded to an area in the vicinity of an intersection of the diagonals on one of the surfaces of the bag body.
