PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize measures which are realistic and superior in convenience to a user against junk mail while effectively making good use of existent system constitution.;SOLUTION: Mail that a mobile telephone set 2 receives includes a read flag (identification information indicating whether mail is junk mail) added in the mail header. Then the mobile telephone set 2 restricts notification operation at the time of mail reception since the setting state of the read flag which shows "read" setting indicates junk mail. The setting state which shows "unread" setting indicates that the mail is not junk mail, the notification operation is carried out.
