PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technical problems of setting the threshold value for sorting received raw unhulled rice with the protein content of the raw unhulled rice from the distribution ratio of the protein content determined by photographing a field diagonally from the upper side with a camera installed on the ground and carrying out sorting with the threshold value.;SOLUTION: A method for sorting the raw unhulled rice in a facility of drying and preparing grains is to set the threshold value and sort the raw unhulled rice to be received with the protein content of the raw unhulled rice based on the threshold value. The method is characterized as follows. The nitrogen content of rice plants cultivated in each field of the object of reception is measured by photographing the field from the oblique upper side with the camera installed on the ground and the measured value of the nitrogen content is used to determine the protein content during harvesting of the raw unhulled rice harvested from the rice plants for each field. The protein content is used to prepare the distribution ratio of the protein content of the raw unhulled rice in all the fields of the object of reception.
