PURPOSE:To obtain the enhancement of quality and economical effect by the sorting based on the taste of rice by measuring the eating quality evaluation value of unhulled rice within a short time and adding the obtained eating quality evaluation value to the sorting of received unhulled rice. CONSTITUTION:An unpolished rice sample obtained by hulling the sample of received unhulled rice is finely ground and dried at a high speed to shorten the time up to the evaluation of eating quality to a large extent. By this method, the eating quality evaluation value of the sample of the received unhulled rice can be measured within a short time.
