PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for living body-related substance detection used for quantitatively detecting a plurality of living body-related substances in a same probe spot and produced at a low cost, and to provide a living body-related substance detection method.;SOLUTION: This probe for detecting living body-related substances solidified on a carrier is used for detecting a plurality of living body-related substances in a specimen. The probe includes, at a known ratio, a plurality of probe domains specifically bondable to living body-related substances different in type from each other, a first fluorescent material capable of causing fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) with another fluorescent material is bonded to at least one of the probe domains while the fluorescent material is not bonded to at least another thereof. According to the living body-related substance detection method, a second fluorescent material capable of causing FRET with the first fluorescent material is bonded to a living body-related substance in the specimen to obtain a labeled specimen. The probe is solidified on a carrier to bring the labeled specimen into contact with the probe. These are illuminated with excitation light of the second fluorescent material to detect a light emission signal of the second fluorescent material and a light emission signal specific to FRET.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
