PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient English listening training device.;SOLUTION: The training device comprises: a means which outputs a speech stored in a storage means (702) from a voice outputting section (705); a means which displays, on a display (704), a text corresponding to the outputted speech in a state that the whole or a part is hidden, responding to the speech output, as a question asking the initial part of the whole or the part that is hidden, and displays on the display a plurality of choices including a correct answer to the question; a means which displays on the display, when the choice of the correct answer is selected, the selected correct answer and displays the next question asking the next hidden part in the text and the choices; and a means which, when a choice other than the correct answer is selected, notifies that the selected choice is not correct, and continues to display the plurality of choices still including the correct answer on the display.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
