PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily disassemble and assemble a rotary electric machine by few man-hours, in a short period of construction time and at low cost even if the position of an electromagnetic steel plate to be repaired is in the vicinity of a lower-side pressing plate 23.;SOLUTION: A core block separation support device 50 is constituted of a hanging seat 51 that is fixed to a stator frame 7; a receiving seat 55 that is provided on the lower end-face of a repair-side block group 15; and a stud 65 that is engaged to an intermediate seat 58 inserted into a ventilation duct 20 immediately above at least the repair-side block group 15 and to the hanging seat 51, is inserted into the intermediate seat 58 and the receiving seat 55, supports a core block 12 between the hanging seat 51 and the intermediate seat 58 as a non-repair side block group 16 by fastening the intermediate seat 58 and the receiving seat 55 with nuts, and also supports the core block 12 between the intermediate seat 58 and the receiving seat 55 as the repair-side block group 15.
