PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy having a large capacity for storing hydrogen under a high pressure, and a capability of occluding/releasing hydrogen in a wide range from a low temperature to atmospheric temperature. PSOLUTION: The hydrogen storage alloy is a titanium-chromium-manganese-based hydrogen storage alloy having a composition formula expressed by TiSBx/SBCrSB2-y/SBMnSBy/SB(1.0x1.2, 1.0y1.4). The hydrogen storage alloy has a large capacity of storing hydrogen under a high pressure, and a capability of occluding/releasing hydrogen in a wide range of a low temperature to atmospheric temperature, through having a specified range of a content ratio of Mn and Ti (x and y).
