PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a first rotational turret mechanism by extending the outer peripheral surface of an upper rotational disc outward in the radial direction over the outer peripheral edge of the first rotational turret plate so that the peripheral edge lower surface may cover the opening end of a skirt wall, and positioning it near the inner surface of a tab base part. ;SOLUTION: Caps 100 to be sequentially conveyed while being faced to tabs 108 upstream are discharged from the discharge end to a reversing device 6 by a conveying chute 4, received in cutouts 34 of a first rotational turret 30, and conveyed clockwise. Since the opening ends of skirt walls 104 of the caps 100 are covered with the peripheral edge overhung from the outer peripheral edge of the first rotational turret 30 of an upper rotational disk 32, foreign matter such as dust is prevented form entering, and the movement of the caps 100 is stopped. The tab 108 sides of the skirt walls 104 of the caps 100 are smoothly guided by the inner peripheral surface 44 of a stationary outer guide plate 42, the rotation of base parts 106 of the tabs 108 is stopped by the outer peripheral surface 33 of an upper rotational disc 32, and therefore, the rotation of the caps 100 is stopped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
