Green light emitting phosphor for low voltage/high current density and field emission type display including the same

This green light emitting phosphor for a device of low voltage/high current density includes at least one kind of phosphor selected from (a) a zinc silicate phosphor containing manganese as an activator, (b) a rare earth element silicate phosphor containing terbium as an activator, and (c) a zinc sulfide phosphor with a hexagonal crystal structure, containing copper and aluminum as activators. In a color display device such as a FED, it is possible to improve light emission color of a green phosphor and increase luminance while keeping sufficient chromaticity.
