A METHOD OF MAKING COIR TUFTED RUBBER MATS

A method of making coir tufted rubber mat in rolls in which evenly cut coir yam passed through a cavity is tufted into a soft flexible rubber compound which is passed through a non-stick Teflon conveyor belt. The rubber compound is made from mixture of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, reclaimed rubber, rubber chemicals, fillers and process oils. The coir tufted rubber compound is then passed through a heating zone for vulcanization and thus coir tufted rubber mat in roll is obtained.and cut to desired size and shape.
