The method for the surgical treatment of the fracture of the head of humerus with the displacement is based on the arthrotomy of the elbow joint, the reposition of the fractured head fragment with the aid of the elevator followed by the metallosynthesis of the fragment stated. The fractured head fragment is reposed using flexion and extension of the forearm in four stages. In the first stage, the distal edge of the fragment is held by the elevator and the forearm is extended. In the second stage, the proximal edge of the fragment is blocked by the elevator and the forearm is flexed slowly. In the third stage, the elevator is located on the side of the bone surface of the head of humerus, and the latter is pressed towards the head of radius while the forearm is extended slowly up to the angle of 70-75 DEGREE . In the fourth stage, the elevator is located above the proximal edge of the fragment and is then displaced towards the center of the spherical surface of the head preventing the dislocation of the latter.
