A method of stimulating the intensity of poultry somitogenesis is carried out by means of irradiation with monochromatic light. An incubation egg is irradiated on 2nd, 17th and 32th hours of incubation with monochromatic blue light of the semi-conductor light diode L7113PCD/H ( nm) while a radiation power density is of 0.1 mWt/cm2 for 60 s.
