The shaver has a partition wall (30) provided inside a main body casing (10). The wall separates a rechargeable battery compartment (A) that accommodates a rechargeable battery (18) and a driving portion compartment (B) that accommodates a motor (20). The wall is provided with a sealing unit. The unit allows a main body of the motor to protrude into the battery compartment and seals the compartments.
