Indoor Optical Fiber improved Abrasion Resistance and Methods therefor

PURPOSE: An indoor optical cable having an improved abrasion resistance and a fabricating method thereof are provided to enhance the abrasion resistance by using an inner part including an optical fiber and a tensile material and an outer part. CONSTITUTION: An indoor optical cable having an improved abrasion resistance includes an optical fiber, an inner part, and an outer part. A tight buffer(3) is coated on the optical fiber(1). The inner part(5) is formed by coating a tensile material(2) around the optical fiber. The outer part(6) is coated on a surface of the inner part. The outer part is fabricated by one or more kinds of resins selected from engineering plastic, fluoric resin, polyethylene, elastomer, polybutylene, terephthalate, and polypropylene.
