摘要
The utility model relates to the field of nuclear power plants (NPPs) and can be used to prevent fire and explosion from hydrogen ignition in the reactor hall during an accident at a nuclear power plant with loss of coolant. One of the results of the utility model is to increase the efficiency of the recombinant by improving the heat sink from its catalytic elements. This result is ensured by the fact that in the lower support beams of the heat sink frame of the recombiner there are blind cylindrical sockets in which the lower ends of the rod catalyst elements are installed without a gap, and the lower ends of the wire fastening elements of the rods have heat sink sections recessed in these beams. The metal mass of the heat-conducting frame together with the fasteners is 10 ÷ 25 grams per one catalytic element, and the rods in the cross section of the catalytic block are staggered with steps between rows and between rods in each row selected from the formation conditions between any rod in one row and two rods adjacent to it in the adjacent row of an equilateral triangle. Another achievable result of the utility model is the saving of precious metal in the composition of the catalytic element while increasing the efficiency of the latter. This result is ensured by the fact that the catalytic element has a catalytic material and a water repellent concentrated in the surface zone of the support at a depth of 5–300 μm and are uniformly distributed throughout it. The outer surface of the carrier is covered with a gas-permeable protective film of a water repellent 15–25 μm thick.
