The device has a switching unit (15) connected to a mobile telephone (13) and a storage medium. Specific time and position dependant information content, for radio cells, are held in the medium. The information is transferred on a display of the telephone using a transducer (24) in the telephone. The transducer is activated as a function of location of the radio cell and the activation is detected by the switching unit.
