The device has a geographical position acquiring system (1) communicating coordinates of a portable communication device e.g. telephone, to a decision-making module (2). A user module (4) contains information relative to an adjusting mode desired by a user of the telephone, and a cartographic module (3) contains information relative to the location of the telephone. The decision-making module interrogates the cartographic module for analyzing current position of the telephone and transmits an order from the information to a telephone parameter adjusting system (5).
