The arrangement has a detection device (10) for determining a tire pressure parameter, a stabilizing device (11) that carries out a vehicle stabilizing intervention in the vehicle units (12) for influencing the longitudinal and/or transverse dynamics of the vehicle when a given triggering criterion is fulfilled and an evaluation unit (13) that adapts the criterion depending on the tire pressure parameter to optimize the stability of the vehicle. The evaluation unit determines a tire pressure variation magnitude describing the time variation of the pressure parameter, whereby the adaptation of the trigger criterion takes account of the determined pressure variation magnitude. An independent claim is also included for a method of stabilizing a vehicle.
