The system has an oil separator (10) for oil that is separated from blow-by-gases in a crank case (4), and a pressure control valve (12) to control pressure in the case. A main pipeline (8) has a pipeline section (14) that is provided between the valve and the separator in a mounting condition of an internal combustion engine. The separator is bridged by a bypass-channel (19) for the pre-separated oil that is caused by the valve.
