The separator has a channel housing (44) conducting blow-by gases from an inlet to an outlet. A V-shaped splitter is arranged between the inlet and outlet and configured for forming sub channels for a flow of the blow-by gases, where the flow of the blow-by gases is entered through the inlet. Flow cross sections of the sub-channels are reduced in flow direction up to sub-channel outputs. Baffle plates are arranged in flow direction opposite to the sub-channel outputs. The sub-channels are limited through the flow divider and channel housing. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cylinder head for a combustion engine of a motor car, comprising a blow-by channel (2) a motor covering part for fastening with a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, comprising a crank case.
