Bearing device for crankshaft of internal combustion engine has at least one light metal alloy bearing section coated in at least some surface areas with aluminium alloy
The bearing device comprises at least one light metal alloy bearing section with an insert part (10) of ferrous metal material formed as a bearing block with a bearing bore (15) for the crankshaft. The insert part is coated in at least some surface areas with an aluminium alloy. An opening or bore is provided in the insert part through which the light metal can penetrate during the casting process into the bearing section.
