The invention concerns a filter comprising a housing consisting of a filter (3) and a receptacle mounted removable and sealed thereon and a filtering element located in said receptacle and consisting of a resistance structure and a filtering material supported by said structure, two end caps (8, 9) being arranged at the ends of said structure (5). It further comprises at least a foolproof device (11, 12, 13). The invention is particularly applicable in the automotive industry.
