The device has a mechanism including a worm (10) and a reversible electric motor (13), for alternative liner displacement of a support plate (4) along a direction transversal above a back window pane (2) to be cleaned. The support plate carries a nozzle (6) for the projection of water under high pressure on the pane in order to sprinkle water over the entire pane during the displacement of the plate.
