The method involves generating a three dimensional image of an eyelash fringe with respect to a simulation parameter value that is modified by a user. The image is generated by multi-zone fringe simulation. The image is incorporated in an image of a face of a person which is partially a real image. The image is generated eyelash by eyelash, where the fringe comprises 10 to 300 eyelashes. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a device permitting to simulate the appearance of an eyelash fringe (B) a server of an Internet site for generating a three dimensional image of eyelash fringe (C) a method for manufacturing an atlas (D) a method for simulating the effect of utilization of an applicator and/or a product applied on eyelashes (E) a method for evaluating an eyelash fringe (F) an atlas comprising synthesis images of eyelash fringe.
